Back from San Antioco island

Well, they found them!

Late at night (or early in the morning) I returned from Italy.
Well, I have a problem here... All our luggage are lost in Rome Airport transit. I have more to say about rome airport but I will make it through other blog, where I use to highlight what I like and dislike (especially).
I lost the radio set, I lost the computer with logs, clothes and Maria's toys.
Well, I use to think positive. I have the pictures as I saved them on a memory stick... Fortunately, I have my Nikon DSLR.
So, enjoy some pictures!
I will give some explanations later.

QRV in San Antioco Island (Sardinia/Sardegna)

From 18th of July till 30th of July, I will be QRV from San Antioco Island as IM0/YO3HJV/P. IOTA ref. nr. EU-024 I will use a FT857D with a LDG z100, 4:1 Guanella and a doublet dipole. PSK31, SSB and photos with EasyPal. The PC is a Thinkpad x40 with a homebrew interface. I plan to make some trips on surrounding islands so, interesting callsigns to come! More info to come here! ARO 243, a perfect and reliable 4x4 for ham operations

Astazi am scos ultima achizitie, un ARO 243, la plimbare la Comana. Deh, la cate statii sunt pe aici, era necesara si o platforma pe care sa se desfasoare.
Urmeaza amenajarea interna, cu echipamente si ce mai trebuie radioamatorului cand pleaca in expeditie.
Propagarea nu am cum sa o indes in masina!
Primul drum a fost la Comana, in judetul Giurgiu.
Pe masina a fost instalat un FC40, vizibil in consola de pe capota. La ATU a fost conectata o antena din undita pentru HF.
VHF/UHF am folosit o antena Comet, dual band, lambda/2.
Transceiver FT 857D si sursa Proxel.
